Nursery Extra Curricular

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Children choose their work from among the self-correcting materials displayed on carpets in our two thatched huts, and they work in specific work areas. Over a period of time, the children develop into “normalized individuals,” working with high concentration and few interruptions. The child moves from being undisciplined to self-disciplined, from disordered to ordered, from distracted to focused, through work in the environment. This process occurs through repeated work with materials that captivate the child’s attention.

A positive attitude towards learning is promoted through questioning, observing and experimenting with a variety of materials related to diverse themes.

Opportunities are provided to develop small and large motor skills, as well as co-ordination.

Free – choice play is built into the schedule each day to enable plenty of opportunities for problem solving and conflict resolution. Developing social etiquette and communication skills is a vital part of our classroom.[/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid element_width=”2″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1461151513153-fd1eb476-9f24-1″ include=”7923,7924,7925,7926,7927,7928,7929,7930,7931,7932,7933,7934,7935,7936″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
